Bad Mermaids: On the Rocks

RELEASE DATE: 14 Jun 2018

Mermaids Beattie, Mimi and Zelda, along with Steve the talking seahorse, are trapped aboard the spooky ship the Merry Mary, heading for the legendary (and super-stylish) Crocodile Kingdom. On land, Paris Silkensocks, ice-cream seller and GADGET QUEEN, has uncovered a plot to destroy the mermaid world. Can Paris find the mermaids in time? Can Beattie avert a Crocodile Kingdom crabtastrophe? Can seahorses get seasick? All this and more will be revealed! Featuring magical mysteries, fabulous fashion and a snappier than average transport system, the second Bad Mermaids adventure brings a whole new twist to the underwater world of mermaids. If you enjoyed Witch Wars, The Little Mermaid or Mabel Jones, you’ll love this too!

PUBLISHER: Bloomsbury

Event Details

Sibéal’s event introduces the children to her and her writing before setting out some examples of how to write comedy. Together with the audience they come up with another under sea realm and add in details – shops, drinks, TV Shows etc- which could belong in the new realm they’ve come up with. Her event is really fun and interactive and it is all about world building off the page. We also bring along props for pupils to wear while creating!

Shipping Policy

All pre-ordered Books purchased for School Visits, sold via authors2schools.com, are sent to the pupil's school as a single school order by the Book Supplier partner of your event. This is usually a local branch of Waterstones or your local independent book store, wherever possible.

Books will not and can not be shipped to your personal billing or shipping address- only to the school or institution hosting the event.

Refund Policy

Refunds are at the sole discretion of the Book Supplier partner of your event. Their contact details are available from the event listing page. All refunds are returned to the original payment method.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

Due to the nature of pre-ordered book stock for school visits, often before the official publication date, and the fact that all copies will be personally signed (ie marked) by the Author, Book Supplier partners are usually unable to accept returns or exchanges.

All stock is brand new and from the wholesale agent which is later supplied & checked for quality/damage by a professional bookseller up until the point of signing.

Any cancelled customer orders must be requested within 10 working days of the date of the School Visit to qualify, for the reasons outlined above.
